I can still remember holding him when he was just a few weeks old.  I've watched him grow and now he has entered Kindergarten!  Wow does time sure fly by.  Shayla is one of my sister's oldest friends, so I was tickled when she asked me to document Nicky going into Kindergarten.

I love that photography has moved outside of the portrait studio.  I feel like you can capture so much more personality when you have more space, and freedom to move around.  Naturally, Nicky was full of energy and easily hammed it up for the camera.  It's a pretty fun shoot when mom is willing to climb a tree to get in on the action too!

Thank-you Nicky & Shayla for letting me capture this special moment in your life!  Nicky, hope you have great year in Kindergarten :)

Bringing Dreams to Reality...

It started out years ago, as little girls do, dreaming of the details of my future wedding.  Those details sparked a passion for all things wedding - designing & crafting, decorating, photography, finding the perfect bridal attire, colour schemes, florals, jewelry, etc.

Over the past few years, I have attended many weddings, as I am in that stage of life, and have helped many friends with certain details of their weddings. So to many who know me, this new journey of starting this business is no surprise.

I am so excited (and nervous) to be finally bringing this dream to a reality.  Hence, the launch of Maren Lindsay Design & Photography!
